Kelvin Lamont “Poofie” Jordan (1973 – 2026)

Kelvin Lamont “Poofie” Jordan, 52, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Warren Memorial Hospital.

A celebration of Poofie’s life will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal.

Poofie was born on December 15, 1973, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to the late Russell Leonard Jordan and Lula Irene Gray Jordan.  He was currently a dedicated employee at White Horse Car Wash.

Poofie’s greatest joy was found by the water.  He spent countless hours fishing, always happiest with a rod in his hand and a line in the pond. Whether he was chasing the big catch or simply enjoying the quietness of nature, the water was his sanctuary.  His love for the simple things in life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Surviving along with his mother are his companion, Helen Roberts; son, Nicholas Jaquay Jordan; two daughters, Takiyah Marie Jordan and Ashley Renee Jordan; brother, Darryl Jordan; sister, Tracey Davis; six grandchildren, Lilian, Madeleine, August, Ny, London, and Ry; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Leonard Jordan.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
