Kenneth Dyke (1933 – 2025)

Kenneth Dyke, 92, of Mineral, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025, in the comfort of his home.

A visitation will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 W Main Street, Front Royal, Virginia 22630, followed by a procession to Prospect Hill Cemetery for a 12 p.m. graveside service.

Kenneth was born on April 18, 1933, in Winchester, Virginia, to the late Cecil and Martha Whitacre Dyke. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Estelle Jackson Williams Dyke; his daughter, Cindy Robbins; and his siblings, Eugene (Bo) Dyke, Patricia Patterson, Anna Belle Helsley, Betty Mowery, Earl Jack Dyke, Marie Duvall, and infants, Pauline and Lester Dyke.

Kenneth is survived by his sons Randall Dyke (Julia) and Timothy Dyke (Debra) and son-in-law Jeff Robbins; his siblings Genevieve Cline, Helen Copeland, Robert Dyke, and Mary Elizabeth Clemons; his seven grandchildren Jeremy Dyke (Dunia), Joshua Dyke (Ashley), Kirsten Dyke, Kaitlin Earnest (Jon), Samuel Dyke, and Ian Dyke; his great-grandchildren Skyler Dyke, Carlisle Dyke, Logan Dyke, and Briella Dyke; and numerous extended family members.

Kenneth is a United States Army Veteran and served during the Korean Conflict. He was a huge motorcycle enthusiast and raced motorcycles professionally as a young man. He enjoyed riding until he was 88 years old. He also enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, and go-kart racing.
