Martha Ann Colvin Parker (1932 – 2023)

Martha Ann Colvin Parker, 91, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024, at Commonwealth Senior Living.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 12, 2024, at the First Baptist Church, with Pastor Christy McMillan Goodwin officiating and Pastor Mark Jordan assisting. Following the service, there will be a luncheon at the church before proceeding to Panorama Memorial Gardens for the inurnment. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Parker was born on October 9, 1932, to the late Marshall and Minnie Colvin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Parker; her sister, Margaret Lee Smith; her brother, Jerry M. Colvin; and her nephew, Jerry Smith.

She is survived by one niece and two nephews.

Mrs. Parker graduated with a BS in Education from Madison College (now James Madison University). She then taught for 30 years in the Business Department at Warren County High School. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Front Royal and assisted as their Deacon, Church Clerk, and Financial Secretary. She was also a member of the Warren County Humane Society and Warren County Retired Teachers and worked as an interviewer for C-CAP.
