Mindful Monday: Music to set the tone
Are you new at meditation? Playing a little background music for beginners can really help set the tone of the environment. There are often loud sounds and interruptions all around us. If a silent meditation is just not an easy option for you and your mind feels too busy, here are a few music choices to consider from two of my favorite mindful friends. Plan on getting to know both Joanna and Sunday a little better in upcoming Mindful Monday features!
JoAnna McCue-Martin, Playful Explorations
JoAnna does a lot of work with children in the field of mindfulness here in Front Royal. She recommends trying Kira Willey! Here is a great sample of one of her songs for children. (More about JoAnna in the following weeks)
