Missed the VA250 Mobile Museum? Another Stop Is Coming Close By

Published

on

If you missed an earlier chance to visit the VA250 Mobile Museum, another opportunity is coming to the region this weekend.

The traveling history exhibit will be at Historic Long Branch, 830 Long Branch Lane in Boyce, from Friday, Aug. 21, through Sunday, Aug. 23, 2026.

The mobile museum will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and admission to the VA250 exhibit is free.

Visitors can explore Virginia history through the traveling museum and also tour the historic house at Long Branch for a small donation.

The event is part of the broader VA250 effort marking Virginia’s role in the nation’s 250th anniversary and giving communities across the Commonwealth a chance to engage with the state’s history.

Historic Long Branch is encouraging families, history enthusiasts, and visitors from across the region to stop by during the three-day visit.

For those who were unable to catch the mobile museum at a previous location, the Boyce stop offers another nearby chance to experience the exhibit without traveling far.
