Nancy Grant Boger (1936 – 2026)

Nancy Grant Boger, 89, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Commonwealth Senior Living.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 11 AM at Panorama Memorial Gardens, 4917 Strasburg Road, Waterlick, Virginia, with the Rev. Taeshin Kim and Elder Gary Utz officiating.

Mrs. Boger was born on December 18, 1936, in Strasburg, Virginia, to the late Gypson and Mary Stoneburner Grant.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lionel H. Boger III; two brothers, Russell Grant and Donald Grant; sister, Rebecca Craun; and son-in-law, Humberto R. “Tito” Valines Jr.  She was a member of Ninevah Presbyterian Church, the Order of the Eastern Star Front Royal Chapter 6 and North Warren Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department.

Survivors include her two daughters, Debra B. Brown and her husband, Ronald P. Brown, II of Front Royal, and Gayle B. Canini and her husband, John J. Canini of Leesburg, Virginia.  She was Grandmother to Ronald P. “Trae” Brown, III of Front Royal and his wife, Bethanie A. Brown, and Cara-Elizabeth Holt Brown of Front Royal.  She is also survived by her five great-grandchildren, Aiyana, Heidie, Ember, Paisley, and Boden Brown, all of Front Royal, and granddog “Buster Brown”.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Blue Ridge Care, 333 West Cork Street, Winchester, Virginia 22601.
