National Beer Day at Front Royal’s Beer Museum
Despite winter’s final blow (hopefully) limiting some of the outdoor plans the weekend of April 7, the National Beer Day celebration at the Virginia Beer Museum on Chester Street was a success.

“I was encouraged at how many new folks came to check out the Museum and Ale selections. I received a lot of positive feedback, which is always encouraging,” beer “curator” Michael Williams told us. “I think the combination of the food truck and dinner music gave us a good dinner crowd. The late crowd was a little lighter – my guess is the cold kept a lot of people in. Those who came late had a good time with the band, Mandatory Fun.”

With spring in full bloom the following week, Williams believes the museum will continue the momentum of the National Beer Day celebration, adding more music, a variety of food trucks, and a few more “theme nights” to propel history-loving beer aficionados into the coming summer months.
