Overnight closures of ramps from westbound I-66 to Route 123 – July 11 and 12, detours in place

FAIRFAX, VA – Overnight closures are scheduled to occur on the ramps from westbound I-66 to Chain Bridge Road (Route 123) from 11:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the nights of Wednesday, July 11 and Thursday, July 12. The ramp closures are needed for crews to implement traffic shifts associated with the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway project.

Westbound I-66 travelers trying to access Route 123 will be detoured to the US Route 50 interchange. Traffic will exit onto eastbound US Route 50 then make a left-hand exit onto eastbound I-66 back toward Route 123.

All work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if inclement weather occurs.
