Patty Lou Cornwell Marcey, 91, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024.
Services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are still being finalized.
Patty was born April 6, 1932, in Charles Town, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Edward Chamblin and Rose Bell. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wesley L. Cornwell. She was also preceded in death by her two sisters, Beulah Lee Foster of Gerrardstown, West Virginia, and Marie Chamblin of Winchester, Virginia.
She was a member of the Riverton United Methodist Church and B.P.O.E. Lodge 2382 in Front Royal.
Surviving are two sons, Ronney L., and daughter-in-law Betty, G. Cornwell of Mt. Crawford, Virginia, and John. W. and daughter-in-law, Cindy S. Cornwell of Front Royal; one daughter, Bonnie C. and son-in-law James R Williams of Naples, Florida; one sister, Caroline “Sally” DeHaven of Winchester; one brother, Marshall “Pete” Chamblin of Wichita Falls, Texas; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers are her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Rusty Cornwell, Jami Cornwell, Dusty Cornwell, Luke Cornwell, Morgan Woodard, Cyrus Cornwell, Carson Cornwell, McKenzie Cornwell, Avery Cornwell, Thea Cornwell, Maddie Woodard, and Mason Hess.
