Robert Kenneth Phelps (1928 – 2025)

Robert Kenneth Phelps, 96, formerly of Wheaton, Illinois, passed away in Front Royal, Virginia on Monday, January 6, 2025.

Robert was born on May 7, 1928, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Kenneth Phelps and Vida Girou Phelps. He was also preceded in death by his son, Rick Phelps, and his loving wife of 72 years, Rita Ann Phelps.

Surviving Robert are his son, Gregg Phelps (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Rachel Smoot, Alyssa Burk, Kaila Phelps, Christopher White, and Elizabeth Cook; and his great-grandchildren, Jude, Robert, Matt, Emma, Allison, and baby Gatlin on the way.

Robert was a very loving and devoted, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a long-time member of St. Daniel the Profit Catholic Church in Wheaton Illinois.
