Rosa “Christine” Ross (1939 – 2026)

Rosa “Christine” Ross, 86, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Warren Memorial Hospital.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, at 1 PM at Maddox Funeral Home with the Rev. Dottie Holden officiating.  Burial will follow at Panorama Memorial Gardens with Pastor Luke Shope presiding over the committal.

Mrs. Ross was born on November 7, 1939, in Washington, Virginia, to the late Thomas and Elizabeth Jenkins Keatts.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Ross; sister, Charlotte Henry; and daughter-in-law, Becky Ross.

Survivors include two sons, Wayne Ross of Linden, Virginia and Kenneth Ross (Nancy) of Winchester, Virginia; two daughters, Patricia Wilkinson (Anthony) of Michigan and Melissa Ross of Linden; two sisters, Madeline Senter of Front Royal and Colleen Keatts of Front Royal; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Ross, Sarah Mauri (Alex), Kenneth Ross Jr. (Courtney, Erica Ross, Stephanie Hughes (Luke), Joshua Pollard (Lisa), Dustin Pollard (Tiffany) and Amber Barnett (William III); eight great grandchildren, Mason, Saige, Sethe, Ethan, Madeline, Dylan, Charlotte and Lawrence; one great grandchild on the way and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Ross Jr., Joshua Pollard, Dustin Pollard, William Barnett, Jerry Henry, and Timmy Senter.

Honorary pallbearers will be Erica Ross, Stephanie Hughes, Amber Barnett, Jenifer Ross, and Sarah Mauri.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 29, 202,6 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Warren Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, 220 Campus Blvd., Winchester, VA 22601, or to Blue Ridge Caring, 33 West Cork Street, Winchester, VA 22601.
