One-Time Events:

Wildlife Photography and Scavenger Hunt

  • Thursday, August 22nd from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM

Using Observational and Photography Skills to Document Nature in this session, we will focus on taking photographs of the smaller items in our natural world. We will begin with a review of techniques for taking close-up photographs. Following the review, we will head to the field to practice these techniques by capturing images to complete a nature scavenger hunt. This is a great family event. All types of cameras from smartphones to professional cameras and levels of photographers are welcomed. State Park parking fee rules apply for attending this program. The Library has a limited number of LVA state park bags with passes. Availability is not guaranteed.
