Scott Edward “Scotty” Taylor (1971 – 2026)

Scott Edward “Scotty” Taylor, 55, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026, at his residence.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced.

Scotty was born on July 4, 1971, in Front Royal to the late Milton and Elsie Mills Taylor.  He joined Electricians Local #26 at 17.  He formerly drove race cars on dirt tracks and was an avid racing and sports fan.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Amber Nichols; two daughters, Allison Taylor and Annika Taylor (Cody); son, Jordan Scott Taylor; brother, Kenneth Taylor; two sisters, Angel King (Earl) and Pam Taylor; granddaughter, Adelina Taylor; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family will be establishing a memorial trust in his name.
