Skin cancer is one of the most common types of cancer, and it can be deadly.

Risk factors include having:

• Pale skin, eyes, and hair

• A personal or familial history of skin cancer

• Lots of moles or freckles

• Experienced many blistering sunburns

• Received UV light treatment for severe skin problems
