Theodore Alan “Theo” Nickens, 75, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at his home.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 11 AM at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal, with The Reverend Willie Corbett officiating.  Burial will follow in Good Hope Cemetery.

Mr. Nickens was born on August 6, 1950, in Front Royal to the late Thomas and Rebecca Blue Nickens.  He was also preceded in death by his sister, Maxine Nickens Wright, and niece, Anastacia Gail Davis.

Survivors include his two brothers, Robert L. Nickens and Thomas W. Nickens; two sisters, Kathaleen Nickens Ross and Juanita Nickens Davis; three nephews, Robert Nickens Jr., Anthony Nickens, and Michael Nickens(Lore); and three nieces, Shanna Nickens, Shelby Ross, and Savannah Tucker.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
