Warren County Middle School FFA Hosts Staff Appreciation Breakfast to Honor National FFA Week
Members of the Warren County Middle School FFA chapter hosted a National FFA Week Staff Appreciation Breakfast at Warren County Middle School on Friday, February 16, 2024. Teachers, Administration, Custodian, and Cafeteria Staff Members. School Board member, Andrea Lo attended as well.
WCMS FFA members planned and executed the breakfast festivities over the last few months to finish off their celebration of National FFA week. With the support of their parents, FFA members were able to have a delicious breakfast spread.
This is a part of National FFA week where we take the time to appreciate all the staff, teachers and administrators in the building for all the flexibility allowing us to run our program at the level that it needs to be run.
With this effort, the FFA is able to properly thank the staff for their help and leniency on absences during contest season, allowing them to perform to their best ability.
Harlie Brooks, WCMS FFA Secretary stated “as an FFA member at WCMS, I really enjoyed it. It was fun to see how happy all the teachers were. The teachers really enjoyed it and appreciated the breakfast. The teachers even got appreciation gifts.”
The FFA members wanted a way to say ‘thank you’ to all our staff members for all they do. The Staff Appreciation Breakfast was just the thing to let everyone know just how much they mean to WCMS FFA.
We partnered with Ms. Lynne Phillips, Agriscience teacher and FFA Advisor plus Mrs. Kristen Harper, Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) teacher and FCCLA Advisor, to hold both National FFA and FCCLA weeks together.
We celebrated National FFA and FCCLA Week with a spirit week sharing their love of FFA and FCCLA with the student body by holding dress up days.
We created flyers and morning announcement slides plus put up bulletin boards to let the students know how they can show their school spirit and support of these two worthy organizations.
We appreciate all the effort the staff goes to in supporting our very active FFA chapter.
