Warren Heritage Society Seeks New Executive Director and Volunteers

Published

on

The Warren Heritage Society, a cornerstone of local history and culture in Front Royal, is on the hunt for a passionate and seasoned professional to fill the role of Executive Director. This key position promises to offer an ambitious leader the chance to shape the future of the Society and its impact on the community. The search is on for candidates who bring a blend of management experience, strategic vision, and a love for history and preservation.

Dynamic Leadership Role

The Executive Director will serve as the chief administrative officer, tasked with overseeing the Society’s operations, staff, and strategic initiatives. This role demands a unique blend of skills, including program planning, donor engagement, and community relations. The ideal candidate will possess a background in historic preservation, museum administration, or a related field and proven management experience.

Making a Difference through Volunteering

In addition to finding a new Executive Director, the Society is calling on community members to lend their skills as volunteers. Whether it’s handling minor repairs, assisting in the archives, or helping reorganize displays, every effort helps preserve the area’s rich heritage.

Winter Schedule Reminder

The Society reminds visitors of its winter schedule, with tours paused until spring and the archives open for limited hours. This period of reduced activity is a strategic time for implementing new projects and preparing for a bustling spring season.

A Call to Action

The Warren Heritage Society encourages interested individuals to step forward, whether as candidates for the Executive Director position or as volunteers eager to make a difference. It’s an opportunity to contribute to preserving the area’s historical treasures and ensuring they continue to educate and inspire future generations.

Applications for the Executive Director role will be accepted until March 15, 2024. Resumes should be directed to careers@warrenheritagesociety.org. Volunteers and those wishing to schedule archive visits can contact the Society directly.

The Warren Heritage Society stands as a beacon of cultural preservation and education in Front Royal. Through leadership, community engagement, and the dedication of volunteers, the Society aims to elevate its mission and enhance its offerings to the public.
