Winchester Welcomes New Police Chief Ronnie Lewis
The City of Winchester has announced Ronnie Lewis as its new Chief of Police after a nationwide search. With nearly three decades of experience in law enforcement, Lewis brings a wealth of knowledge in community policing, public safety, and organizational leadership. He most recently served as Chief of Police in Bedford, Virginia, where he earned a reputation for reducing crime and building trust with the community.

City Manager Dan Hoffman praised Lewis for his leadership skills and track record, stating, “Ronnie stood out among all the applicants.
