The Front Royal Women’s Resource Center presented a Women’s Spotlight Program Thursday night at the Samuels Public Library,  with a dynamic panel discussion featuring strong and passionate women leaders in Warren County.

The Women Rising panel discussion highlighted some of the inspiring women in our community as they told their stories of both triumph and challenge. The panel consisted of three women representing different sectors of our community, such as education, government, business and minority issues. Emily Marlow Beck (President of Marlow Automotive Group), Linda Glavis (County Supervisor) and Dr. Judith James (co-chair of the local chapter of Coming to the Table) were the panelists at the event and did a wonderful job.

Eka Kapiotis lead the evening as moderator keeping the discussion interesting and engaging. Joyce Jenkins-Wimmer (President of FRWRC) and JoEllen McNeal (Founder of FRWRC) shared words about the Front Royal Women’s Resource Center including history, community involvement and upcoming events. The closing of the evening was by former Dare to Dream Grant recipient, Kat Perkins Laky who shared her very moving personal journey as a true Woman Rising in the Warren County area.
