Royal Zaika Brings Authentic Indian Flavors to Main Street Front Royal

Front Royal recently celebrated the grand opening of a new downtown restaurant, Royal Zaika Bar and Grill, at 219 E. Main Street. The Warren County Chamber of Commerce, led by Nike Foster, hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony, with local officials Mayor Lori Cockrell and the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors Cheryl Cullers in attendance.

Royal Zaika is owned by Krishna Adhikari and Gopal Sharma, who bring authentic Indian flavors to the heart of Front Royal. With over 24 years of culinary experience, Chef Krishna has crafted a menu highlighting the rich spices and herbs of Indian cuisine. “Zaika means flavor, and our focus is on using the best ingredients to create dishes that reflect traditional Indian tastes,” Gopal explained. The restaurant has already earned glowing feedback, with 33 five-star Google reviews.

During the ceremony, Mayor Cockrell praised Krishna and Gopal for choosing Front Royal, noting that they were once visitors who fell in love with the community. “We’re so glad you’ve made this your home and brought another exciting dining option to Main Street,” she said.

Chef Krishna highlighted some of Royal Zaika’s specialties, including a signature lamb chop dish, and emphasized that diners can customize their spice levels to suit their preferences. “We offer mild, medium, and hot options, so there’s something for everyone,” Krishna explained.

Royal Zaika is open for dine-in and take-out, with plans to expand delivery services soon. Krishna and Gopal expressed gratitude for their support during their soft opening and look forward to serving the community for years to come.
