Michael Lee “Mike” Lemons, 75, of Front Royal, Virginia, entered his eternal rest on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, in Dulles, Virginia.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Mr. Lemons was born on December 9, 1950, in Richmond, Indiana, to the late Victor Lee Lemons and Edra Reid Weiss.  Mike graduated from Cortez High School in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1969, and later attended Anderson University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree.  Following graduation, he became a carpenter and, during his career, received the Carpenter of the Year award from the State of Arizona.  He eventually retired as a Construction Foreman and Union Carpenter.  He volunteered with Samuels Public Library, was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, and a member of Skyline Baptist Church.

Survivors include his two sons, Cory Lemons (Amy) and Travis Lemons (Lee); two daughters, Melody Riggs (James) and Faith Lemons; brother, Stephen Lemons; sister, Alisa Middleton; first wife, Ellen Scott; second wife, MaryAnne Travis; twelve grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
