Mindful Monday: Kids’ techniques with Playful Explorations
This week we have guest JoAnna McCue-Martin, from Playful Explorations, on Mindful Monday! Watch this video as JoAnna shows some of the work that she does with children in her mindful classes. All of the children in this class really responded to her techniques and movements. Learn a great way to help your little ones settle down at night into a deep relaxation by watching their breath with a little candle (battery operated) on their tummy.
JoAnna McCue-Martin, M.Ed., has a passion for sharing mindfulness, yoga and movement with children and adults. Having over 20 years of experience working in a variety of private and public educational settings, JoAnna has come to love the process of encouraging growth, creativity and play with people of all ages! She holds a Virginia teaching certification along with certifications for The Nia Technique® (sensory based movement practice), Creative Kids Yoga® and is finishing her 200RYT this Spring.
