Warren County School Board Meeting – May 1, 2019
At the May 1st Warren County School Board meeting, Board member Doug Rosen announced that he would not be seeking another term of the board. His term is up December 21, 2019.
Superintendent Greg Drescher recognized three organizations as VSBA Business Honor Roll Recipients: Fox’s Den Pizza of Front Royal, Spelunker’s Frozen Custard and Cavern Burgers of Front Royal, and Wolters Kluwer-Resources for Educators Division.
Drescher also recognized Lillian Baltimore Sloan and Dr. John D. Blanton for the 2019 Roy K. Boyles Wall of Recognition.
Melody Sheppard, Assistant Superintendent, provided the board with the 2019 VSBA School Board policy updates, custodial services contact update/renewal information, contract for asbestos removal at A.S. Rhodes Elementary School, and the food management services contract.
