The Taste of the Town family friendly event has been rescheduled to Friday, September 27th, 6 – 9 pm. The Front Royal Independent Business Alliance (FRIBA) volunteers have been busy preparing for another great evening of family fun and food. Local restaurants again will be on Main Street bring you a “taste” of their food.
It’s an evening of fun for all. Plenty of things for the kids to do – and plenty of tables and chairs for the rest of us. There will be music by River Driven, a local group featuring Shae Parker, Stacy Horton, Tim Grant and Andrew Schaeffer. You’ll be pleasantly surprise with their selection and talent.
Another event happening on Main Street is Save Your Town. Every month FRIBA is showing a video from a group called Save Your Town. On Thursday, August 1st at 11:30-1 pm at the Middle of Main at Beth Waller’s What Matters Conference Center, a short movie talking about the Arts in Rural Communities. Bring your lunch or the Apple House will have a few selection available for purchase. Plenty of time allowed for conversation. FRIBA believes our town can be saved by our own people using our own resources.
