If you’ve been contemplating signing up for one of those increasingly-popular painting parties, you are in luck! The Warren Memorial Hospital Auxiliary is hosting a fundraiser painting tea party with local artist Kelly Walker.

WMH Auxiliary spokesperson Sarah Fitzwater says she is delighted that Walker signed on to lead the Feb. 11 event, which will be held from 2:00-5:00 p.m. in the third-floor conference room at the hospital.

Those attending the event will enjoy tea and tasty refreshments and get instruction and supplies to paint a lovely 11 x 14 winter scene, featuring a lone cardinal.

Walker says she typically does a couple of fundraisers per year, typically for animal-related causes, but was delighted to help out the auxiliary.  She says those attending her paint parties typically say they enjoy the level of instruction provided and the sophistication level of their completed project.
