Albert and Catherine Gunn support Stephen Jerome for Clerk of the Court

We are writing to enthusiastically support Stephen L. Jerome, Republican candidate, for the office of the Clerk of the 26th Circuit Court for Warren County.

We believe that Stephen, in addition to being an experienced attorney of irreproachable integrity, has many qualifications which make him the very best candidate for the position.

First, and the one already mentioned, is his experience as a local working attorney – indeed we believe, the only attorney in the race – who has acquaintance with the Clerk’s office from a new vantage. In this regard we feel Stephen will bring a fresh perspective to the important issues this office is charged with, one that is more accountable to our local constituents.

Secondly, Stephen is the only Republican candidate in the race. In an office with a great deal of discretion like the Clerk’s, being accountable to a political party is vitally important. Finally, we can also attest that Stephen is genuinely pro-life and pro-family, with a real, active commitment to building up our community.

Through our extended family, we have been acquainted with the Jeromes for almost two decades, and for the past four years, we have seen and experienced this commitment of Stephen’s firsthand. As new neighbors, he went out of his way to make our family feel like part of a real community which welcomes and looks out for its members. As we have come to appreciate Stephen’s wider involvement in the community, from his role in scouting to the other non-profit organizations in which he serves, we can see that our initial appreciation of his community-building efforts and sense of responsibility was well founded.
