Armed Robbery at Front Royal Grocery Store Under Investigation

On the evening of April 15, 2025, the Front Royal Police Department responded to Robinson’s Grocery, located at 603 East 6th Street, following a report of an alleged armed robbery.
Upon arrival shortly after 7:00 p.m., officers determined that a male suspect had entered the store and demanded money from the cashier.

During the course of the robbery, the suspect discharged a single round from a firearm before fleeing the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. The suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of US currency.

The suspect is described as a white male with a mustache, approximately 25 years of age, 5 feet 7 inches tall, and weighing 130 pounds. He was last seen running northbound from the store wearing a black face mask and all black clothing.
