Christmas on Main Brings Holiday Cheer to Downtown Front Royal

Published

on

The spirit of the season will shine bright in Front Royal on Saturday, December 7th, as Christmas on Main transforms the downtown area into a festive wonderland. From Noon to 7 p.m., this holiday celebration, organized by the Front Royal Warren County Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Discover Front Royal, promises a day full of magic, entertainment, and community togetherness.

The Merry Market, running throughout the event, will feature over 40 vendors offering handmade crafts, unique gifts, and delicious food. Shoppers can enjoy a festive atmosphere while supporting local artisans and small businesses. Downtown merchants will also open their doors, providing a perfect chance to explore Front Royal’s charm while dining and shopping.

Entertainment will fill the air at the downtown gazebo, where performances, including a lively dance showcase by Jig-N-Jive Dance Studio at 1:30 p.m., will delight attendees.

The holiday cheer builds to the highlight of the day: the Christmas Parade at 4 p.m. Sponsored by Edward Jones, the parade will showcase dazzling floats and performances from local businesses, schools, and organizations, spreading joy along Main Street.

Following the parade, the festivities culminate in the official tree-lighting ceremony at the gazebo. Santa himself will join the Mayor to “flip the switch,” illuminating Main Street and officially kicking off the holiday season.

Whether you’re hunting for the perfect gift, enjoying the holiday magic with family, or simply savoring the sights and sounds of the season, Christmas on Main is an event not to be missed.
