Clement William “Buddy” Becker Jr., 79, of Strasburg, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024, in the comfort of his home.

The family invites guests to visit with them between 1 and 2 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 120 W Main St., Front Royal, Virginia. A funeral Mass will take place at 2 p.m. on January 3, 2025, at the church, with Father Gee officiating.
Buddy was born on May 1, 1945, in Washington D.C., to the late Clement William Becker Sr. and Helen Louise Studds Becker. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Geraldine Evans.
Buddy is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Ann Becker; his children, Clement Becker III and his wife Kim and Leah Kent (Becker) and her husband David; his “adopted” daughter, Tammy Wilson; his brother, David Becker; his grandchildren, Elysa Baker, Ewan Becker, Alec Becker, and Benjamin Becker; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Buddy served our country in the United States Navy for two terms during Vietnam. He loved his family, old sports cars, and all animals. Buddy was a huge prankster and enjoyed pulling pranks, especially on his daughter Leah on April Fool’s Day. His favorite holiday was July 4th, and every year for 30 years, he would throw large parties on the 4th.
