Discover the Magic of Main Street with the 4th Annual Pot O’ Gold Treasure Hunt!

Published

on

It’s that whimsical time of year again when Main Street transforms into a treasure trove of fun, laughter, and community spirit, celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with its annual Pot O’ Gold Treasure Hunt. This year, the event is more grandiose than ever, running from March 8th through March 17th, encapsulating not just the charm of Main Street but also the heart of the community.

Annie Guttierrez from the Jig ‘n’ Jive Dance Studio, also known as “Miss Annie,” alongside her troupe of merry leprechauns, sat down with Mike McCool in the Royal Examiner’s studio to share the enchanting details of this year’s treasure hunt. With a twinkle in their eye and Cheeto-stained smiles, these little leprechauns are ready to sprinkle a bit of magic across town.

The Hunt Expands!

This year, the event boasts participation from 47 Main Street businesses, a significant leap from last year’s 30, showcasing the event’s growing popularity. But the magic doesn’t stop there; an additional 14 bonus businesses join the fray, creating an even larger loop extending the fun beyond Main Street.

What’s in Store?

The Pot O’ Gold Treasure Hunt is a community event where families, friends, and visitors can engage in a fun-filled scavenger hunt. Armed with maps provided by National Media Services, participants will navigate through Main Street, collecting clues from participating businesses. Each clue, symbolized by a shamrock, contributes to a larger puzzle, leading treasure hunters closer to the coveted pot of gold.

Prizes Galore!

It’s not just about the hunt but also the rewards. Nearly every participating business has donated prizes, making the event a true community effort. From gift certificates to beautifully assembled baskets, there are prizes for every age group, ensuring that everyone walks away with a piece of the treasure.

A Celebration of Community

The Pot O’ Gold Treasure Hunt is more than just an event; it’s a celebration of the small-town charm that defines Main Street. It’s a time when the community comes together, businesses showcase their hospitality, and the streets are alive with the joy of discovery. As participants wander with their maps, it’s a reminder of the vibrancy and unity that makes Main Street the heart of the town.

Join the Fun!

The event is entirely free, encouraging everyone to join in the fun. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, a family or a solo adventurer, the Pot O’ Gold Treasure Hunt is an experience you won’t want to miss. So, mark your calendars for March 8th to March 17th, grab your map, and join the community in celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in a truly memorable way.

As the treasure hunt draws near, Main Street is buzzing with anticipation. The event promises not just a hunt for treasure but a journey filled with laughter, camaraderie, and the discovery of the many wonders that Main Street has to offer. Don’t miss out on this magical adventure!
