Front Royal Man Arrested on CSAM Charges Following Investigation
On Thursday, December 26, 2024, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation into the possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in the Front Royal area. Acting on the information received, investigators identified a suspect, Dale W. Baldwin, and analyzed the contents of his cellular device.

Arrest and Charges
After reviewing the material, investigators interviewed Mr. Baldwin on December 30, 2024. He was subsequently arrested and charged under Virginia Code §18.2-374.1:1, which prohibits the possession, reproduction, distribution, solicitation, and facilitation of child pornography.
Following his arrest, Mr. Baldwin was held without bond after appearing before a magistrate. In addition to the new charges, he was also served with a violation of his current probation. His court date has been set for January 16, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in Warren County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.
Task Force Involvement
This investigation was conducted with the assistance of the Northern Virginia/DC Metro (NOVA/DC) Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, which operates under the coordination of the Virginia State Police and combats crimes involving the exploitation of minors online.
