Hazel Rebecca Pomeroy Campbell (1941 – 2026)

Hazel Rebecca Pomeroy Campbell, 84, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at home with her loving husband and son by her side.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19, at 2:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with Sammy Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Front Royal.

Hazel was born May 25, 1941, on the Skyline Drive on the Rappahannock County side, daughter of the late William McKinnley and Edith Thresa Kenney Pomeroy.

Hazel will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Surviving are her loving and devoted husband of 64 years, Tommy Campbell; one son, Dallas Campbell of Front Royal; and one granddaughter, River Eve Campbell of Front Royal.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 19, from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
