Leah Marie Adams “Minky”, 19, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017 in Front Royal, Virginia.

Leah Adams

Leah was born in 1997 in Madison, Wisconsin, the beloved daughter of Jennifer L. and Robert D. Adams, II. She was a graduate of James Wood High School, Class of 2016, attended Lord Fairfax Community College, was employed as a Call Center Specialist at Navy Federal Credit Union and attended Grace Downtown of Winchester Church.

While growing up, Leah enjoyed playing basketball and anything that dealt with being outdoors, especially camping and fishing. Leah had a loving heart for animals, always wanting to bring new ones into her home. She also had a loving heart for people, helping others came natural to her….always putting others before herself. When football season came around, her love remained in Wisconsin. You could always find her cheering on her hometown Green Bay Packers.

Surviving with her parents are her loving brothers, Dillian, Preston and Peyton Adams; grandparents, Kathleen Fentanes (Jose Moreno, Sr.) of Madison, Wisconsin and Suzanne Mahoney of Janesville, Wisconsin; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Leah is preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Adams and grandfather, Daniel Mahoney.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday at Winchester Church of God, 2080 N. Frederick Pike, Winchester, Virginia. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Brad Hill officiating. Interment will be private.

In memory of Leah, let us remember to always put a smile on our face and light up a room whenever we enter it. Remember to always be kind to people and animals, don’t just tell people you love them, show them, and let us all move forward as she would want us to. We can keep her memory alive by living life and creating examples just as she would have done. And this year when football season gets underway, don’t forget to cheer on the Green Bay Packers.

Memorial contributions may be made to Omps Funeral Home, 1600 Amherst Street, Winchester, Virginia 22601 MEMO: Adams Service or Go Fund Me.
