Four children survive her, Brian Linger (Jennifer) of Harrisonburg, Virginia, Heather Wilson (Drew) of Danville, Virginia, Amanda Bass (Nick) of Front Royal, and Kevin Linger (Julia) of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; nine grandchildren, Caroline, Avery, Patrick, Everly, Conor, Madelyn, Annie, Marjorie, and Evelyn; brother Richard (Louisa) of West Chester Township, Ohio and two sisters Barbara Koerner (Peter) of Staunton, Virginia, and Susan DeHart (Tony) of Radford.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Warren County, Virginia.
