Nicholas Christopher “Nick” Kentopp, 57, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at his home.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 1 PM at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal.

Nick was born on January 15, 1968, in Granby, Massachusetts, to the late Arthur and Joan Reinhardt Kentopp.  He retired from Harris Teeter on September 30, 2025, after 30 years of service.  He was a United States Navy Veteran serving in Operation Desert Storm.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Gina Ryan Kentopp; two sons, Alex Kentopp Nesbitt (Emily) and Kyle Greyson Kentopp (Sparrow); brother, Timothy Kentopp (Michelle); five sisters, Christine Slattery (Ed), Theresa Nelson (Steve), Natalie Wanta, Kathy Carr, and Carol Dettmer (Tim) and numerous nieces and nephews.
