Petals & Pinkies Spring Tea Set for March 17 in Front Royal

Published

on

The Warren Heritage Society will welcome guests for a spring-themed afternoon tea on March 17 from 2 to 4 p.m. at its headquarters, 101 Chester St. in Front Royal.

The event, called “Petals & Pinkies,” celebrates the arrival of spring and the delicate wildflowers that begin to bloom across the Shenandoah Valley this time of year.

Guests will hear a presentation from Kim Strader, outreach assistant for the Warren Heritage Society, who will guide attendees through the early-spring wildflowers found throughout the region, from mountain tops to riverbanks. Strader will share stories and insights about the plants and the natural beauty of the Valley.

Following the talk, participants will have the opportunity to create bookmarks using pressed flowers and foliage, offering a handmade keepsake to take home.

Tea and light refreshments will be served, and guests are encouraged to embrace the spirit of afternoon tea by wearing spring hats or fascinators. Since the event falls on St. Patrick’s Day, organizers also suggest adding a touch of green to avoid any playful pinches.

Tickets are available online, and organizers encourage guests to reserve seats early, as space may be limited.
