Ruby E. Fristoe (1937 – 2026)

Ruby E. Fristoe, age 89, passed away peacefully at her home on August 10, 2026.

Ruby was an avid worker who took great pride in all that she did. She loved flowers, and her chickens were among her two favorite things.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Austin Fristoe, her father, William “Bill” Bolen and her grandfather who she called “Daddy”. Ruby and Austin worked side by side for more than 30 years in their family business, Fristoe’s Water Service, until their retirement in 2019.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Beahm, and her son, David Fristoe; her grandchildren, Michael Fristoe, Krista Beahm, Tyler Fristoe, and Lindsey Fristoe; and her great-grandchildren, Kayle, Marleigh, Parker, Alex, and Kye.

Ruby will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. We find comfort in imagining her doing the things she loved so much in her younger years—working on patchwork or playing basketball. She often reminisced about those days.
