The Warren County Sheriff’s Office has received information reference a phone scam taking place.

Phone calls are being made to citizens claiming to be Captain Gordon Foster from our office, requesting payment with money dot cards due to missing court or jury duty.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind the public that we do not call citizens for payment of any type.

Please do not fall victim to this scam. If anyone has any information referencing this scam, please call our office at 540-635-4128.
