The Auto Care Clinic has announced their winner, Tiffany Chopin!

We would like to let the community know that The Auto Care Clinic has announced the winner of the 2nd Annual Car Giveaway Event: Tiffany Chopin, of Winchester, Virginia.

Tiffany was selected from 41 letters of nomination. Each letter received described a person in need of a vehicle for work, school or medical appointments; lived within 20 miles, and was able afford and operate a vehicle, but couldn’t afford to buy one. The Review Committee carefully reviewed each nomination and selected the top three to interview. Tiffany was chosen as the recipient and took possession today of the free vehicle, a 2005 Toyota Sienna Van. Congratulations, Tiffany!

Tiffany drives away in her 2005 Toyota Sienna Van.

The Auto Care Clinic will do free oil changes on the vehicle, for one year, to make sure it stays in good running order. We wish we had 41 vehicles to give away; however, we could only help one family this year.

We appreciate all of the letters of nomination, prayers and support of this worthy cause. We also greatly appreciate the hard work and efforts of the Review Committee: Ms. Janet Michael of The Valley Today, Mr. Greg Demski of Edward Jones, and Ms. Mary Marshall, retired school teacher and local minister.

We are so blessed to serve our wonderful community and plan to hold the Car Giveaway event again next year.
