WHAT MATTERS Warren–Facade work to begin on 109 E. Main Street, the first of many façade projects awarded with Community Block Development funds. Property owner’s improvement investments will be matched dollar for dollar (up to$20,000).

In this video, FR Planning & Zoning Director, Jeremy Camp discusses the grant with 109 E. Main Street Owner, Edward Greco.

Advertisement for new bids for the facade improvements will be opened in September after lead paint and asbestos testing is completed on the buildings. Contractors interested in submitting a bid can contact the Town Planning & Zoning Director, Jeremy Camp, at jcamp@frontroyalva.com, or by phone at 540-635-4236.

Bids shall be awarded individually for each of the façade projects, so contractors can submit a bid for one or all of the projects.

Payment for work shall be paid out by the Town through funds received from property owners and a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) awarded to the Town to assist with implementation of the Town’s Downtown Revitalization Plan: Envision 2.0.

Stay tuned for more videos about additional downtown grant projects, including the pavilion and bathroom additions near the gazebo. Thanks to the grant committee members, property owners and Town of Front Royal for their teamwork that is about to give Main Street a face lift!
