Virginia State Police Report Firearms, Drug Seizures in Weekly Crime Suppression Efforts
Virginia State Police reported the recovery of firearms and several drug seizures during ongoing crime suppression operations across the commonwealth.
From June 17 through June 23, state police, working with federal and local partners, recovered two firearms valued at $1,500 as part of criminal drug investigations.
Authorities also reported seizing drugs with an estimated denied revenue value of $597,711. The seizures included 8.8 pounds of cocaine, 16 pounds of marijuana, 1.1 pounds of fentanyl, 1 pound of THC consumables, and 2.6 pounds of methamphetamine.
State police said the weekly operations are part of continued efforts to disrupt criminal activity and support public safety across Virginia.
