Warren County DSS to Host Community Resource Fair at Samuels Library
Local organizations and residents will have an opportunity to connect at an upcoming Resource Fair hosted by the Warren County Department of Social Services.
The event will take place on Wednesday, June 3, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Samuels Public Library in Front Royal. It will be the second Resource Fair hosted by the department this year, following a strong turnout at the first event.
Organizers say the goal is to bring community groups and the public together in one place, making it easier for residents to learn about services and support available in the area.
“The purpose of these events is to connect local organizations with the public,” said Rachel Rost, Warren County Job Developer with the Department of Social Services.
Attendees will have the chance to meet representatives from a variety of organizations. Past participants have included ClearHorizon Forensic & Counseling Group, Blue Ridge Hospice, the Salvation Army, Fox Rehab, the U.S. Department of Labor, Warren Coalition, Horizon Goodwill, and Virginia Career Works’ Senior Program.
The event is free and open to the public. Visitors can explore available resources, ask questions, and learn more about services offered throughout the community.
Organizers are also inviting additional organizations to take part. Groups interested in hosting a table are encouraged to contact the department in advance to reserve a space.
The Resource Fair aims to highlight the wide range of services available in Front Royal and Warren County while helping residents make meaningful connections.
