WINCHESTER, Va – Frederick County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a suspect following the early Friday morning (June 23) robbery of a Millwood Pike hotel.

According to a written statement from the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the Aloft Hotel at 1055 Millwood Pike for a reported robbery. Captain Alan Beeman said the clerk reported that a subject entered the lobby of the hotel and demanded money.

He said the clerk reportedly placed the cash drawer on the counter and the suspect removed the money from the cash drawer, then left the hotel and ran north on Tulane Drive.

Beeman said the suspect is described as a black male with a black bandana covering his face. He was wearing a white t-shirt, khaki shorts, and a gray toboggan. The clerk indicated that the suspect could possibly be the same suspect from the June 2, 2017 robbery.

No weapon was displayed in the robbery. An undisclosed amount of money was taken from the business during the incident.
