Patricia Ann “Patty” Vaught Brown, 64, of Front Royal, Virginia, went home to be with the Lord and her loved ones waiting for her on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Winchester Medical Center.

Patty was born on November 2, 1961, in Front Royal to the late Fred and Judy Lansberry Vaught.  She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.  Patty enjoyed life and loved to have fun and laugh.  She was a great mom and made holidays and birthdays very special.  She made sure her son knew she loved him very much.  Family time was very important to her, and that included her friends who were as close as family and very special to her, including Susie Poe.  Even through her struggles as a cancer survivor and with other health issues, she held on to fun and shared all she could with others.

Survivors include her son, Clayton Arnold; his girlfriend, Nikki Rakes, and her daughter, Patty, considered a granddaughter, MyLee Rose Rakes; her significant other, who has taken very special care of her through these past few years, Daniel Sealock; brother, Allen Vaught (Fay); sister, Stephanie V. Bryant; uncle, Ritchie Vaught (Joan); aunt, Shirley Vaught; special cousin, Teresa Hupman; many cousins; and her little dog Lucy, who kept her company through it all.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Warren County, 1245 Progress Drive, Front Royal, Virginia 22630, or to Susan G. Komen for the Cure at https://www.komen.org/how-to-help/donate/.  Flowering plants are also welcome.
