Avis Arline Earley (1930 – 2026)
Avis Arline Earley, 96, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on October 2, 2026, at Warren Memorial Hospital.
A funeral service will be held Friday, October 9, 2026, at 11 AM at Liberty Baptist Church in Strasburg, Virginia, with Pastor Keith Warren officiating. Burial will follow at Bennett’s Chapel Cemetery.
Avis was born on January 21, 1930, in Millinocket, Maine, to the late Conrad and Celia Hatch Ekholm. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Archibald Earley Sr.; son, Scott Earley; and foster son, Larry Lauder. She was a teacher’s Aide for Warren County Public Schools and owned and operated Nu-Look One Hour Cleaners in Front Royal with her husband.
Survivors include her children, Charles Jr. (Sue), Julie Curry (James), Randall (Katherine), and Carrie Clegg; ten grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Randall Earley Jr., Charles Earley, Shane Strawderman, Luke Shollenberger, Mark Ekholm, and Brian Shollenberger.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
