Feel the Festive Spirit at Samuels Library’s Holiday Open House

Published

on

Samuels Library is transforming into a holiday wonderland on Saturday, December 14, as it hosts its third annual Holiday Open House. The day is packed with activities that promise fun for all ages, festive music, and even a chance to meet Santa!

Guests can look forward to crafting sessions for all skill levels, including a special woodworking activity for children, sponsored by Lowe’s, at 11 a.m. Santa himself will take center stage at noon for a heartwarming Storytime session.

The holiday cheer continues at 1 p.m. with a performance by the Blue Ridge Singers, showcasing songs from their upcoming program. To wrap up the festivities, the Friends of Samuels Library will host a Wreath-Making Workshop at 2 p.m., where participants can create stunning door swag using live greenery. Children are welcome at the workshop, provided they have adult supervision.

A standout feature of the day is the opportunity for families to take a free Christmas portrait captured by local photographer Sharon Fisher. Due to limited availability, those interested can book their 15-minute session early by calling 540.635.3153.

Refreshments will be available throughout the day and sold at the Friends of Samuels Library Epilogue Bookstore.

Located at 330 E Criser Road in Front Royal, Samuels Library upholds its mission of connecting people, information, and ideas to enrich lives and foster community. Don’t miss this chance to celebrate the season in the heart of the community!
