Seeking Community Assistance: Help Locate Wanted Sex Offender in Orange County

Published

on

The Virginia State Police’s specialized Sex Offender and Firearms Investigative Unit is reaching out to the community for assistance in tracking down Sheldon Locke Davis, a 63-year-old convicted sex offender. Davis, mandated by Virginia law to regularly update his registration details, is currently wanted for failing to re-register on four separate counts.

Previously residing in the Rhoadesville area of Orange County, Davis moved without notifying the State Police of his new address. It’s suspected that he might still live in Orange County or neighboring areas.

Sheldon Locke Davis, a 63-year-old convicted sex offender.

Standing at 5’9″ and weighing around 175 lbs, Davis has brown hair and green eyes, distinguishing features that could aid in his identification.

The Virginia State Police urge anyone with information on Davis’s current location to come forward. Tips can be submitted anonymously through the “TIPS” link beneath the offender’s photo on the Virginia State Police Sex Offender Registry’s search page at https://www.vspsor.com.

Your cooperation can make a significant difference in ensuring community safety and compliance with the law.
