Town Tip Thursday: Meditation and mindfulness changes lives

Published

on

Town Tip Thursday, a WHAT MATTERS Initiative.
This week’s TIP is from my friend and mentor Sam Beard, who has worked with 8 US Presidents and is responsible for the creation over 10 million jobs, about how meditation and mindfulness changed his life, as it did my own.

ABOUT SAM BEARD

Sam has dedicated his working life to public service. Through different national non-profit organizations that he runs, he has initiated and then chaired programs for each of the last seven Presidents of the United States – Presidents Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton and Bush. Learn more about Sam’s amazing accomplishments HERE.

SAM BEARD ON MINDFULNESS

Are you stressed? Do you know your unique purpose in life? Are you satisfied with your personal growth? Explore the untapped power of your mind.

Grow beyond the five basic senses: Sight. Hearing. Smell. Taste. Feel. Open your full potential. It’s as easy as closing your eyes and breathing. Get connected.

HOW WE MET

This is the first of several videos I’ll be releasing with Sam. We met in the fall of 2015 at our first A-Fest in Costa Rica and were instantly connected by our love of service and our personal transformations through mindfulness and meditation. In future videos, I’ll announce a $2,500 WHAT MATTERS match campaign to support his non-profit, Gift Global, as an effort to support and create awareness about his mission to create a more mindful world.
