2025 Virginia Wine and Craft Festival Draws Another Crowd to Downtown Front Royal

From the Town of Front Royal, Va. website, an overview of the Wine & Crafts Festival 2025, held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, May 17, in the Gazebo-anchored Village Commons Park at the intersection of East Main and Chester Streets in historic downtown Front Royal:

“Indulge your palate with a diverse selection of wines, meads, and ciders sourced from across Virginia at the Virginia Wine & Craft Festival. With flavors to suit every taste, this event promises an unforgettable journey through the region’s finest libations.

Front Four Cellars was a popular destination for wine drinkers, not to mention defensive linemen, in the crowd. Below, woodcrafts to choose from. Royal Examiner Photos Roger Bianchini

“But that’s not all! Prepare to be captivated by the talents of artists and crafters hailing from along the East Coast, alongside our local artisans and merchants, as they transform Main and Chester Streets into a vibrant marketplace. From handcrafted jewelry to bespoke ceramics, and everything in between, you’re sure to find treasures that speak to your unique style and preferences.

“Let’s not forget about the food! With tantalizing options ranging from savory crab cake sandwiches to mouthwatering shish kabobs, the toughest decision you’ll face is what to indulge in first.”

And here’s a look at some of the options:

It was another beautiful, if a tad warm, Spring Day for a public event centered in the Gazebo-anchored Village Commons Park.

And again live music was a featured presentation at the event. And apologies for not getting this band’s name.

An international stop for cigar connoisseurs, not to mention directional assistance. And beyond a look at other vendors and the crowd enjoying the options streched across downtown Front Royal.
