The Front Royal Police Department is thrilled to invite you to the 17th Annual National Night Out Block Party. This exciting event will be held on Tuesday, August 6th, from 5 to 8 p.m., downtown on Main Street at the Gazebo.

National Night Out is a nationwide initiative that fosters relationships between neighborhoods and law enforcement to emphasize the shared commitment to preventing crime and ensuring community safety. This year, the Front Royal Police Department (FRPD) continues the tradition of strengthening our neighborhoods and celebrating police-community partnerships with various fun and educational activities.

The block party will feature live music by the local band Raised on Analog, ensuring the event is lively and entertaining. Food, inflatable attractions for kids, and numerous informational exhibits focused on safety awareness, crime prevention, and local resources will be provided. This is a perfect opportunity for community members to engage with their local first responders, ask questions, and learn more about public safety.

National Night Out is more than just a fun event; it’s a crucial platform for promoting crime prevention strategies and strengthening the spirit of our neighborhoods. Participants are encouraged to secure their homes before heading to the event by following the 9 p.m. routine—locking doors, turning on porch lights, and securing property.

This year, National Night Out will see participation from over 17,000 communities across all 50 states, U.S. territories, Canadian cities, and military bases worldwide. The event aims to heighten awareness about crime and drug prevention, generate support for local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit, and send a strong message to criminals that our communities are organized and vigilant.

For the Front Royal Police Department, this event marks its seventeenth year of hosting National Night Out. The collaboration between law enforcement and the community is vital in the ongoing battle against crime. The FRPD recognizes that their efforts to ensure safety are significantly bolstered by the support and involvement of the citizens they serve.

The success of the National Night Out Block Party would not be possible without the generous support of local sponsors and organizations. Their contributions help bring this event to life and ensure it remains a cornerstone of Front Royal community engagement and safety awareness.

Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to connect with your neighbors, learn more about crime prevention, and enjoy a night of music, food, and fun. The Front Royal Police Department looks forward to celebrating National Night Out with you on August 6th. Together, we can build a safer, stronger community.
